Apps I have rely on:
Hostelworld: Here I find the cheapest and best value for money accommodation. Hostels are also the best way to meet likeminded people to travel with. Check out the reviews and locations on each hostel to ensure you’ll have the best experience
Maps.me: By far the most important app I have. Maps.me allows you to download the city/country/region which you’re travelling to before you get there, meaning you can use maps and navigate around without having to use any data. It’s saved me a lot of times when I haven’t got round to getting a SIM card for that specific country.
Skyscanner: I am forever checking this app even when I’m not travelling to find cheap deals and get aways.
