Lightroom Profiles Volume 1

£35.00

This is a simplified, flexible approach to editing your RAW files. Please note that these are for RAW files.

These Lightroom desktop creative profiles are designed to elevate your workflow without locking you into a specific look. Unlike presets, these profiles act as a tonal and colour base layer allowing you to keep full control of your editing tools like Exposure, Shadows, Highlights, HSL, and more.

The best part about Profilesis that you can also add them on top of your current presets to add that extra bit of spice to your images or use as a base and work on an edit afterwards. Built with speed and creativity in mind, they’re ideal for photographers who want to start strong and stay flexible.

What’s the difference between a preset and a profile?

Presets apply slider values.

Profiles create a visual mood while keeping sliders at zero, so you can build your look from a clean foundation and dial in a unique edit.

Why Use Profiles?

  • Non-destructive: All editing sliders stay untouched

  • Stackable control: Combine with any preset or custom adjustments

  • Slider-enabled: Adjust strength with the Amount slider (0–200)

WHAT YOU GET:

Base Profile

A clean, true-to-life foundation that adds subtle warmth and balance. Ideal as a versatile starting point for any genre whether you shoot portraits, weddings, or lifestyle. This is the first profile I created to just get that clean look. I then adjust white balance and HSL sliders if necessary.

Creamy

Smooth, soft, and flattering. This profile reduces harsh contrast and brings a gentle glow to your highlights and skin tones - perfect for dreamy, romantic edits or pastel palettes. I use this one on a cloudy day shooting portraits and then adjust white balance/contrast.

Nostalgic

My personal favourite. Muted, cinematic, and timeless. This profile channels the character of classic film - ideal for storytelling, golden light, or emotional, documentary-style shots.

Fujifilm:

This is designed to deliver the clean, cinematic tones of Fujifilm cameras, ideal for lifestyle, travel and those little moments of life.

Golden Film:

Inspired by warm, nostalgic film tones, this delivers a dreamy, cinematic glow that elevates natural light photography with a vintage soul. Ideal for golden hour portraits, lifestyle, and travel shots. I tend to add this one after a preset to add that little glow.

Old School Film:

A nod to the analog era. This profile brings a textured, timeless warmth to your images. With a gentle fade in the shadows and soft, film-inspired colour tones, this is ideal for vintage edits, portraits and storytelling with character. I have used this profile the least but when it works, it works. Nice to play around with this one applying it post-edit.

The Sauce:

This profile reduces highlights and lifts blacks for a bold yet balanced contrast. It features warm yellow and orange hues, subtle split toning, and a smooth clarity boost, perfect for giving portraits or lifestyle shots a rich, cinematic finish.

Day To Day

This is all in the name, a perfect day to day profile which gives you a clean aesthetic with minimal fuss. I truly believe that less is more with photography so this profile enhances your natural tones while adding subtle depth and polish.

For optimal results, I recommend applying the profile and then:

  • Tuning the White Balance to suit your scene

  • Adjusting the Profile Amount slider to control the overall strength of the effect. Sometimes only 10-30 percent is the sweet spot, although sometimes I push it a little further depending on the scene.

  • Then fine-tuning your Exposure, Shadows, Highlights, HSL, and other settings to match your desired style

Alternatively you can add your current presets to your image then add these creative profiles on top - you may find that you’ll need to reduce the intensity to around 10-15, similar to how a LUT works.

Please note that these Lightroom Profiles are not a guaranteed one-click solution. While they are designed to streamline your workflow and offer a consistent starting point, slight adjustments will often be necessary to get the best results for your unique image and lighting conditions.

These profiles have been thoroughly tested on RAW files from Canon, Fujifilm, Leica, and Sony cameras, and are built to adapt across a wide range of shooting environments and colour science variations.

Hope you enjoy, any questions give me a DM on instagram or email which can be found on my website or in my instagram bio :)
